Rapidly rising in Melbourne’s metal scene, IRONSTONE pour a combination of progressive, djent and metalcore influences into their heavy, cleverly crafted music. With technical flair and an explosive stage presence, they blend melodic choruses and atmospheric layers with percussive rhythm, low tuned guitars, crushing breakdowns and extreme vocals. The result is a highly modern metal sound that is dynamic, sophisticated and hard hitting.

2023 has seen a restructure of the band, most notably with lead guitarist and songwriter Edward Warren stepping into the position of lead vocalist. Returning to the band after a hiatus is his brother Perry Warren on lead guitar, with newcomer Sam Angove on bass and Jackson Whyte on drums.

IRONSTONE released their debut EP ‘Prophecy’ in May 2020, receiving extremely positive reviews from worldwide media. In 2022 they released singles and music videos for ‘Mr. Struggle’, ‘Shiny Things’ and ‘Brave The Black’ followed by the release of their sophomore EP ‘The Place I Cannot Find’ in late October 2022.

Their new single, ‘Deadly Laser’ was released in early July this year.
